Shadowkat Nightson had a simple theory: if you make music timeless, you can bump it years and years from now because time is what truly determines if a record is classic. 10 years ago, Shadow crafted the haunting boards and rhythmic drums as a backdrop for a powerful narrative entitled “I’M HERE NOW (GORILLA CITY REMIX)”, and it still knocks to this day. Trust. Shadow recorded the main version, then, without touching any of the settings on the boards (which was unheard of), recorded this remix. Bang.
